Every driver on the platform completes identity and document verification (KYC) before they can go online, and our app includes real-time trip tracking, live trip sharing, ratings, and an in-app SOS button. Safety is a shared responsibility, these Guidelines explain the part you play.
The golden rule on two wheels: always wear a helmet. Drivers carry a helmet for you on every trip, put it on and fasten the strap before you move.

If you are ever in immediate danger, your safety comes first, contact the emergency services right away.
Use the in-app SOS button to alert your emergency contacts and share your live location, then call the emergency services.

After you are safe, report the incident to us so we can investigate and take action.
To protect everyone, the following are never allowed on Freedom and may lead to immediate removal from the platform and referral to the authorities:
If something did not feel right, tell us. You can report a driver, rider, or incident through the app after a trip, or email us at support@freedomghana.com. We take every report seriously, keep them confidential where possible, and act on findings, including warnings, suspension, or permanent removal from the platform.
If you are involved in an accident, prioritise safety and medical help first, then report it to us. Drivers are required to carry valid insurance for their motorcycle.
